The tree lot has been Forestry Club’s main fundraiser since 1949. We use all profits from the tree lot for student scholarships and to fund club events, such as our annual banquet, the Midwestern Forester’s Conclave, educational trips, and participate in other forestry related events.
All of our trees are locally grown in Minnesota. We get our trees from two suppliers, TEC trees and Wolcyn Tree Farms. We harvest about 3/4 of the trees we sell by working at TEC trees, owned by retired Forestry Professor, Carl Vogt. Trees are harvested in mid-November and we begin selling them the Friday after Thanksgiving until we are sold out.
Below is our prices, along with our hours and dates of operation.
